We hope you enjoy browsing through the site and find it informative. The web site can do no more than offer a brief outline of the opportunities which we offer to your children, but it should serve to illustrate that the School's high reputation is well deserved.

We have high expectations for all our children at St James' C.E. Junior School but above all, we want our pupils to be happy and successful individuals. We endeavour to help all of our children achieve, whether they are academic high flyers or in need of a little more support. We believe that learning should be enjoyable and that children are happy when gaining success in a secure and reassuring environment.

We recognise and value the important role that parents play and see effective education as a partnership between home and school. Our aim is to help children in our care become self-confident and independent individuals who respect all members of our school community and recognise their growing responsibilities as citizens.
