Dreams Can Come True - Permanent Play Equipment

Permanent Play Equipment – Dreams Can Come True!

Dreams really can come true!  After many requests by the children, and thanks to the generosity of the PFA, we have watched with excitement as a new climbing frame has been installed at the wooded area end of the field. More than one school council has canvassed opinion from their classmates, discussed, pored over play equipment catalogues and made site visits with company representatives. Before Christmas the final go ahead to order permanent play equipment was given by Mr Tutt and Miss Hayward. A slide was requested by the children and is part of the installation, as are a climbing wall and a place to sit and chat. The equipment is designed for more than 25 children to play on at a time, and the plan is that one class at a time will have it to themselves. A huge thank you to our generous parents, our hard working school councils and everyone else who has made this possible. Also many thanks to Mrs Featherstone who has worked with the School Council on this.
